Hi my name is Mimi.
“The are thousands of pixels in a photograph and each pixel leads up to the big picture.”-MimiB
I am an avid photographer, doll collector, musician, poet and visual artist.
I have been collecting and taking photos of dolls since a very young age.
I became a part of a Doll Photography community on Instagram in 2014.
In September 2015 I acquired a Canon Rebel T3i camera. I am mostly self-taught and have taken several classes at Dawson College, John Abbott and Stewart Hall Art Gallery to fine tune my skills.
In the Fall of 2017 I joined the Lakeshore Camera Club. I was on the executive team managing their Instagram account for a couple of years.
Music and visual art have always been a passion. When I was in school I focused on painting and drawing.
Since the age of five I always loved to sing. When I was twelve I was inspired by the artist Avril Lavigne to write my own songs, poetry and play guitar. I began recording my music on a hand held voice recorder. When I got my MacBook Pro I recorded and edited my songs with the Garage Band software. To date I have self-produced two songbooks and six albums.
I was a YouTuber for 10 years, creating music videos and about dolls videos. I am currently focused on Instagram. My photography cards can be seen at the Viva Vida Art Gallery in Montreal. I have self published one doll photography book with inspiration quotes.
I love to inspire people to follow their passions and share their unique hobbies with the world. Make sure to keep smiling and follow your dreams! I hope you enjoy my website.
